Perfect Christmas projects for you to do. These are simple and quick ideas that you and your children will love to make. You can use any type of bead you like. Change and experiment with the projects and have fun.

Candy All the Way Earrings
Materials and tools:
2 x 50mm headpins
2 x 3 or 4mm czech bicone crystal
8 x donut green gemstones
8 x green glass crackle beads - 6mm
2 x silver plated earring hooks
long nose pliers
Instructions:
1). Place onto headpin in following order:
1 x crackle glass bead, 1 x donut gemstone, 1 x crackle glass bead, 1 x donut gemstone, 1 x crackle glass bead, 1 x donut, 1 x red czech bead
 
2). Bend headpin using fingers. Don't worry if it isn't a perfect shape at this point.
3). Add earring hook, donut gemstone and crackle bead onto headpin. Using your long nose pliers, make a complete loop by turning the excess wire underneath away from you. Manipulate the headpin to form a shape of a candy cane. Repeat to make matching earring. To make a longer earrings use a longer headpin and add more beads.

Christmas Colour Earrings
These earrings are very simple to make. Give these away to your friends and family as a kit or perfect as a stocking filler. Create your own design using any beads you like. You can even add bead spacers, rhinestonnes, xmas figurines, simply anything you want. They would look amazing in silver plated or any other materials that you would like to use. Enjoy!
Materials and tools:
2 x gold plated earring hooks
2 x gold plated eye pins
6 x 6mm glass pearls
4 x white 4mm glass pearls
2 x 4mm freshwater water pearls - magenta colour
chain - gold plated ( about 1.5cm. Make sure you have an odd number of links, so you can place the headpin in the centre of the chain)
6 x gold plated head pins or eyepins. I used eye pins
wire cutters
flat nose pliers
long nose pliers
Instructions:
1. Grab your eye pin, bend the end without the loop to 90 degree angle - about 5mm from end. With your long nose pliers make a loop. You should now have an eyepin with a loop on either end.
  
2. Bend eye pin in half using your fingers. Open both ends of eye pin and attach chain and close.
3. Place beads onto eye pins as shown in picture (use completed earrings as a guide). Bend pin to 90 degree angle. Cut pin just under 1cm in length using wire cutters. Make a loop using your long nose pliers by rotating pliers away from you to make a complete loop.
  
4. Attach green and white glass pearl eye pins to either end of bent eye pin. Attach middle pin of freshwater pearl and glass pearl to centre of chain.
5. Open up earring hook and attach to bent eyepin. Close with flat nose pliers. A very easy pair of earrings for you to enjoy wearing during the holly season.
No one will believe how easy they are to make and that you made them on your own. Manipulate bent eyepin to form the shape you desire. Repeat to make other earring.
